How to set up email notification keyword preferences

We've now made setting up your email notifications a customizable experience! Want to only get Family Law Questions that contain the word Texas? No problem! Want to get all Questions in another category that you are an Expert in? You can do that too! Set up your notifications so you can get the types of questions you want, as fast as you want them.

Here are step by step instructions:

Step One: Select the Method, Frequency and then click "update:"

Method: you'll need to select "Email" as the notification method. We may add other options later, but for now this is the only option.

Frequency: you can select the following: immediately, every 2 hours, every 4 hours, every 8 hours. For options other than immediately, you'll get one email with all of the categories that you selected at the hourly interval that you chose. *After you select "method" and "frequency" be sure to click on the "update" button to save those settings.

Step Two: Add a category, select keywords, or choose to receive all questions in that category:

Subscribed Categories: add the category or categories that you'd like to get notifications from. You can then enter keywords into the "Include questions containing any of the following keywords" section. You'll then be notified when Customers ask Questions containing those keywords. For example, if you have expertise in Texas Law and you are an Expert in the Family Law Category, you can choose the "Family Law" category and enter the word "Texas." You can add multiple keywords and use a comma to separate them. You can also choose to "Exclude questions containing any of the following keywords" by entering words into that section. For example, enter "Texas Law" if you'd like to get notifications of all Questions except those containing "Texas Law." You can also choose to receive all questions in a category by clicking the "all questions in a category" checkbox.
